The Potting Shed is a cosy cottage tucked away at the back of Windermere in The Lake District National Park.
It is in a beautiful quiet location with easy access to avoid the busy main routes, on a lovely country lane and yet only a few minutes drive to the centre of Windermere and Bowness.
This quiet retreat offers views over the fells and into the woodland with regular sightings of deer in the garden. There is easy open access and parking directly outside and the cottage is presented to a high standard with 2 bedrooms and shower room upstairs and kitchen, living room and additional toilet downstairs.
It is ideal for a couple, 2/3 friends or a small family looking to explore some of The Lake Districts most beautiful areas.
Comfort and Relaxation Awaits
After a busy day sightseeing or rambling the surrounding fells, look forward to coming back to the cottage and being welcomed into the homely sitting room, where a plush sofa is positioned in front of the wood burning stove and TV.
Take yourself into the kitchen, fitted with white units and sloping ceiling windows with views of the setting sun, and whip up a tasty meal. The property also comes with a dishwasher and washing machine for your convenience.
From here, climb the stairs to find the king-size and single bedroom both dressed in a neutral décor with attractive fabrics to complete the scene, separated by the shower room.
Essentials & Amenities
Outside, there is a south-facing patio, where table and chairs offer a spot for alfresco dining during a sunny afternoon.
When you don’t feel like cooking, you can walk into the centre of Windermere, where you will be spoilt for choice by the selection of cafés, pubs and restaurants that are awaiting, as well as a number of shops to pick up any essentials and gifts for your loved ones back home.
